accidentally stepped on foot after bunion surgery

I put what felt like my full weight on my injured leg. I do have a little tingle in my toes which is scaring me. I was wearing the surgical boot at the time of my accident so I suppose there was some support but I remember putting quite a bit of pressure on my toes at the time. Been very diligent about not bearing weight on the injured foot. not sure if it's related. it seems like, from my read through of the comments above, the main people that thad re-rupture were ones who fell getting out of the shower or bed and didnt have any type of protection.
